Ode to my body

You are the one I wake up with every morning. The one I breathe with, the one I feel every heartbeat from, the sacred rhythm of Life. You are the one I love to walk with, the one I practice with, the one I speak and sing with, the one that stays with me through every sacred moment of the day. You are the one I get sick with, the one I cry and laugh with, the one from whom waves of anger and joy emerge. You are the one I live and die with, the one that once dawned on and will return to the Earth. You are the one that embodies my internal energies. You are the one sacred vehicle to connect with higher realms.

You are my constant companion, my home, I cherish you.

As I speak these words to myself, I am never alone.
